This year the God of War turns retrograde on April 17th. This only happens once every two years and two months, but the effects of each phase differs according to the sign in which it happens. On April 28th, the Cosmic Prankster turns retrograde in Taurus, your 6th house. Your mental activities will revolve around your areas of work, health, and routine. Your discussions with fellow workers could be misunderstood with messages going astray, thanks to computer and phone problems. Your usual routine could be disrupted, creating delays in the work you want to accomplish. However you could find yourself sorting through paperwork, tidying up and organising information that has been neglected. During this phase you will also deal with finances, domestic issues and career matters that you had in place earlier in April. Follow through with health checks, and watch for nervous tension. Mercury turns direct on May 22nd, allowing you to press forward with your timetable. Normality returns after June 8th.
August 30th to September 22nd, Mercury Retrograde in Virgo, 10th house
On August 30th, the Cosmic Prankster turns retrograde in your 10th house of career and ambitions. This marks a period of changes and adjustment to your mental activity. You'll need to work through your own ego demands and motivation to get the most of opportunities available to you. It won't be an easy time as you evaluate your long-term plans, life-style and domestic matters. Presenting ideas and talks with employers about a raise or promotion may take longer than expected, but don't get too caught up with details and be sure to clarify any points that may have been missed.
