Taurus Monthly Forecast for March 2018
This month we see two Full Moons, the first of which is on the 2nd in Virgo, your 5th house of romance, with the second Full Moon in Libra your 6th house on the 31st. This will be another Blue Moon and will shed light on your work, health and routine. Prior to this Mercury and Venus make headway into Aries, your 12th house of secrets, on the 6th. There's a New Moon in Pisces, your 11th house on the 17th, giving you a good reason to socialise as Mars conquers your 9th house of knowledge. On the 20th the Sun blazes into fiery Aries, your 12th house, slowing down your momentum. Mercury is set to turn retrograde on the 23rd.
From the 10th to the 12th, your energy will be high. Be proactive but try to use your concentration skills by doing analytical work and getting your finances in order. There may be areas that you will enjoy investigating, such as mysteries and the unusual. From the 13th to the 15th, you will benefit in some way through friends, a partner and relationships. Mix business with pleasure. Don't expect all to go smoothly as there is a likelihood of disappointments hovering over legal matters, studies, and private concerns in relationships.
The 2nd sees a Full Moon in charming Virgo, your 5th house of romance, creativity and speculation. This is the first of two Full Moons in March and is known as the Full Worm Moon. It is the last Full Moon before the equinox on March 20th. The vernal equinox in the northern hemisphere marks the end of Winter and the start of Spring, while the autumnal equinox in the southern hemisphere marks the end of Summer and the start of Autumn. Other names given are the Full Crow Moon, Full Crust Moon, Sap Moon, Lenten Moon, Windy Moon, Big Famine Moon and Fish Moon.
This Full Moon will trigger a stellium of planets in your 11th house, arousing your emotions in love relationships, friendships, and romantic attractions. You'll love socialising, taking it easy and enjoying yourself. You'll be somewhat dreamy eyed and unrealistic in relationships at first. There's a chance of being narky, self-opinionated and possessive building up to this Full Moon, but overall you will want to express your deeper feelings, interacting within your immediate social environment. Enjoying the entertainment scene, the arts, sports, games and recreational activities will be in the frame. Time spent with children will play an important part, whether yours or those of other people.
The 17th sees a New Moon in compassionate Pisces, your 11th house of friends, hopes and wishes. Over the next two weeks, you will look to emotional gratification and happiness through relationships, while gaining support through your network of friends. It is time to meet a variety of people through different groups, clubs and associations. This may have you travelling for social gatherings, meeting a new friend or a romantic attraction. You will gain benefits by observing other people's outlook and values in activities that you pursue. At the same time energetic Mars enters your 9th house of knowledge, opening a window of opportunities and adventure, providing you don't vent your spleen on others at the second Full Moon on the 31st.
On the 20th, the Sun moves out of Pisces and into Aries, your 12th house of secrets, sorrows and subconscious motivations at the seasonal Equinox. Over the coming weeks, you will prefer to keep a lower profile than usual. As the Sun joins Mercury, Venus and Uranus you will give thought to the happenings of the past twelve, start to consider new plans, and try to overcome past anxieties by rebuilding your energy. Involve yourself in creative projects or help others who are going through a tough time. From the 22nd to the 30th, you might react angrily to situations, become frustrated and feel you cannot take action because of restrictions in place. Some may indulge in a secret love affair.
The 31st sees a second Full Moon, a Blue Moon in Libra, your 6th house of work, health and routine. This Full Moon will stir up negative emotions, anger and adverse behaviour. It will not be the easiest to deal with and triggers off concerns about your job, level of communication, travel, dealing with the justice system, hidden secrets and woes. There may be explosive and uncontrollable situations as passionate Mars will be conjunct restrictive Saturn until April 5th. Take precautions while travelling in foreign zones and countries. Fortunately, your planetary ruler Venus dances into your sign on the 31st, lifting your spirits and bringing social adventures.
On the 23rd, Mercury turns retrograde in Aries, so you'll be working behind the scenes, thinking about your health and work prospects, and generally doing a tidy up. Information from societies, institutions and hospitals may be difficult to grasp, or delayed in some respect. Try not to misconstrue what others say to you, which will only feed your fretfulness. It is not the time to make long term decisions but gather useful facts for future reference. Readdress poignant issues, and clear any misunderstandings. The Cosmic Trickster will return to direct motion on April 15th and will be out of the shadow phase on May 3rd, moving into your sign on May 13th.
On the 17th, at the time of the New Moon, Mars steams into wise Capricorn, your 9th house of the higher mind. Until mid-May, you will need to do a juggling act, as your energy could go haywire thanks to the underlying tensions accumulating with the heavy taskmaster Saturn and underworld lord Pluto. If you are into professional sporting activities, watch for mishaps and accidents. Frustrations are likely over advanced studies, dealing with the law, political issues, overseas travel, foreign affairs, and closer to home, the in-laws. This is not the time for adventure, although you will be keen on the broader aspects of knowledge.
