Libra Monthly Forecast for April 2017
The Goddess Venus, your planetary ruler, is retrograde, redirecting your attention back into your 6th house of work and health from the 3rd to the 27th reaching a stationary point and turning direct on the 15th. You will have another opportunity to build on work relationships, so forgive and forget, make peace offerings and add good public relations to your service to others. A second chance may surface, where you can take up that job role you had been hoping for. This is also the time to resolve disharmony and apathy in the workplace, and improve your health in some way.
Meanwhile Mercury turns retrograde on the 9th, in your 8th house of sex, death and taxes. Mercury re-enters your 7th house on the 20th, when relationships, agreements, discussions and plans will need your attention. The 11th brings your personal Full Moon for the year, when you will desire more attention to your personal needs, questioning whether they have been fulfilled in the last six months.
From the 7th to the 9th, building up to the Full Moon, you will feel more optimistic in relationships and legal dealings, but don't lose sight of your responsibilities on the home front, with family agreements, real estate and property matters in the frame. From the 13th to the 15th, don't be surprised if you are feeling restless and rebellious. Prepare for changes to the structure of relationships, heated debates, or just feeling liberated in some way. From the 16th to the 18th, you'll take a serious approach to ideas and plans, get formal advice and concentrate on the priorities in your life. Older relatives may be in touch, and local community involvement will come forward in some way.
The Moon's Node will be moving out of Virgo and retrograding into Leo, your 11th house. First out of the gate will be the Mean Node on April 29th, with the True Node following suit on May 9th. This will bring a sense of fated happenings with people that you meet, karmic events and people from past, or those who have a significant bearing on your hopes and dreams.
The Full Moon on the 11th comes in Libra, your personal Full Moon. For April, it is often referred to as the Full Pink Moon from the herb moss pink, or wild ground phlox, which is one of the earliest widespread flowers to appear in spring in the Northern Hemisphere. Other given names include Sprouting Grass Moon, Egg Moon and among the coastal tribes as the Fish Moon because this was the time that the shad swam upstream to spawn.
This Full Moon marks the culmination of major events that took place back in October 2016. You'll have plenty of things on your agenda with Mercury and Venus retrograde. Events over the next two weeks will revolve around discussions over relationships, joint finances, business partnerships, agreements and commitments. Your emotions will be ignited by circumstances and sensitive emotional issues, so remain optimistic and drama free. Try to reach amicable agreements, balance with each other's needs and let ego differences rest. Giant Jupiter is cruising through your 1st house giving you plenty of scope, opportunities and big changes within relationships. Besides this, the Moon encourages you to cut out the dead wood from your life to make way for fresh growth. This might mean sorting through your wardrobe, severing yourself from an unhelpful connection, or bringing the curtain down on a chapter of your life. But whether it's major or minor, do it with conviction and courage.
On the 19th, the Sun moves out of Aries and into sensual Taurus, your 8th house of sex, death and taxes. Over the next four weeks, you will flip the coin on finances and divert your attention to joint accounts and possessions, benefits, legacies, investments, mortgages, superannuation and taxes. Mercury turns retrograde there on the 9th, so pay extra attention to detailed finance documents, loan enquiries and other money matters. You'll fathom your deeper feelings in private relationships, or undergo deeper psychological changes at this time. The paranormal will be of interest, along with other mysterious and intriguing topics.
The 26th sees a New Moon in Taurus, your 8th house. Over the next few weeks, you'll take a new direction in managing finances, analyzing and taking care of money owed and owing to you. This is a good time to set plans in place for resolving money issues and obligations, including joint incomes, but avoid being too possessive about shared belongings and property. Changes could bring on some emotional apprehension, which you need to understand and let go of. Move to turn around your attitude in intimate relationships and take on a different view of values. Psychic experiences are there for you, as is your ability to be charming and persuasive in relationships.
The Cosmic Prankster re-enters Aries on April 20th, your 7th house of significant commitments. Scrutinize any mutual arrangements you have made in business partnerships, alliances and relationships. Read all documents thoroughly, understanding anything you are signing , but preferably leave such signing until after May 19th. Look back at talks that took place during the end of February, from March 23rd to the 28th, for they are likely to recur from April 27th to the 30th. Venus about to re-enter Aries on the April 28th will help you find resolutions in relationships. Mercury turns direct on May 3rd in Aries, then moves forward again into Taurus, your 8th house on May 16th, remaining in a shadow phase until May 19th.
On the 21st, the Warrior moves into versatile Gemini, your 9th house of travel, cultural pursuits and the higher mind. Mars leads the way in quenching your thirst for higher education, doing a language course, planning travel and expanding your knowledge of the world, sciences, personal growth and self-discovery. You may do well in professional sport if you are interested, or take an interest in philosophy, theology, and metaphysics. If travelling, take extra precautions with your transportation, especially in places unknown to you, and avoid getting into debates over religious differences, ideals and beliefs.
With the North Node retrograding into your 11th house of friends, hopes and wishes, and the South Node in your 5th house for the next 18 months or so, karmic lessons can be learnt from valuing friendships and personal relationships versus the intrigue and dependence on romantic attachments from past lives. The acceptance of dreams is another way of receiving messages. This can to be used as a guide and direction towards achieving goals, rather than forcing your will or ego onto others. Let go of your personal pride, your focus on self and ego, by becoming more impersonal and detached allowing more freedom and less grip within relationships or with other people. Taking a dispassionate point of view allows you to loosen the grip and become non-involved, but be available when others need you. Now that could be difficult. Expand your individuality and become more independent. Joining clubs, groups and organisations may be used as a way of valuing yourself and others.
