Capricorn Monthly Forecast for May 2017
Sea-Goats start the month with the Sun in sensual Taurus, your 5th house of romance, creativity and speculation. The accent for fun-loving Caps will be to revel in enjoyable past times, recreation and social outlets. Let your hair down and bring out your creative projects, which includes some form of dancing, music and other artistic expression. There are the movies to go to, live entertainment, theatre, sporting venues, the gym and other areas that take your fancy. You will benefit from spending time with children and being involved in their activities. This also highlights the time when romance is likely to enter your life due to your natural magnetism. It's a good opportunity to meet someone special, or to be with the love of your life. Existing relationships will spark up too, so make the most by going out and accepting those invitations.
The 1st brings May Day, so the boys are a-boppin and the girls are all gaa-gaa. Yay, it's May Day, when fiery festivities and frolicking fun are good for the Sea-Goat. Even if you have been down in the dumps, make the effort to get out and enjoy yourself. If you are not in the mood for fun, spend time in quiet relaxation, perhaps investigating the secrets of the ancient times. From the 3rd to the 5th is a good time to get away, go to a show, or see a movie with a romantic theme. From the 5th to the 7th a bit of good fortune may come your way through your creative achievements. It won't hurt to have recognition and public acclaim.
The Full Moon on the 10th comes in captivating Scorpio, your 11th house of friends, hopes and wishes. For May, it is often referred to as the Full Flower Moon in the northern hemisphere, as flowers spring forth in abundance. It is also called Mother's Moon, Milk Moon, and Corn Planting Moon by some Algonquin tribes. This marks a time of increasing fertility with temperatures warm enough for safely bearing young, a near end to late frosts, and plants in bloom. Wesak, also spelt Vesak, is a day celebrated by Buddhists around the world at this time. It marks the Wesak Festival, celebrating the birth, teachings, enlightenment and passing away of the Lord Gautama Buddha. It is considered the most powerful Moon of the year, when great spiritual progress can be made.
It will be a potent Full Moon with intensity beaming into your friendships, groups, associations, and organisations. It's a time to impress others and show your authority. Avoid being overly controlling, and possessive. Your eagerness may get in the way of productive outcomes, particularly if you want to act alone in achieving your goals rather than being a team player. At the same time the emotional energies of the Full Moon could invite impatience, irritations and feuds amongst friends. Try to cool off if personality differences arise, and review the situation in a couple of days. There may be romantic encounters allowing your sexuality and deeper emotions to shine through.
On the 20th, the Sun moves out of earthy Taurus and into airy Gemini, your 6th house of work and health. The next four weeks highlight your area of work relationships, health, diet and routine. You'll be quick to capture ideas and information. This will push you along both physically and mentally, but watch for nervous tension. There are no flies on you, Cap, and anyone who tries to get the better of you in a discussion will soon have to retire to lick their wounds, thanks to Mars also in your 6th house. It's not that you'll be rude or aggressive, simply that right now you can run rings around other people and you have a clever answer to virtually anything.
The 25th sees a New Moon in Gemini, your 6th house. This in fact is a Super Moon, but not readily seen by the naked eye. The next two weeks will take you on a new path, not only with your work but with your health. Why not improve relationships with those around you? At this time you might decide it's time to change jobs, or change your role or routine in some way. Concentrate on efficiency, enhancing your organisational skills and being of service to others. You will also take more interest in improving your health, hygiene, diet and think about eliminating those bad habits. Some Caps may decide to acquire a new pet, or care for a small foster animal.
Mercury remains stationary in dynamic Aries, your 4th house of home and family, before the Divine Communicator turns direct on the 3rd after some weeks of retrograde motion. You may be involved in discussion about your home, or other properties. Changes are afoot regarding either your physical property or the people who inhabit it. You'll need to discuss all the options before the right one becomes clear. Old matters may need to be rehashed. However, lovely Venus has now returned back into your 4th house, which will allow you to rethink family relationships, perhaps doing much-needed redecorating and entertaining. From the 1st to the 13th frustrations, annoyances and problems with family members are likely to be rehashed. Some Caps could be in the process of moving house, but make sure real estate and contractual matters are okay to proceed. Between the 9th and the 13th discussions behind the scenes may involve an older family member in hospital, a partner convalescing, or plans coming forth about real estate and property. By chance you could find something in the attic, a family heirloom or hidden memorabilia.
On the 16th, the Cosmic Messenger heads into Taurus your 5th house, but remains in a retro shadow phase until the 21st. It's time to make right what has been wrong in romantic relationships. Talk over your feelings, along with any misunderstandings, such as sending wrong messages and being too wrapped up in computer games. Have you been listening to the children? Ignoring partner's needs or avoiding social gatherings? It's still the time to get over past concerns and saying words that can't be undone. At least try to make a compromise. Get back into creative writing and pick up the pieces where you left off.
The Goddess Venus remains in demanding Aries, your 4th house, this month but in a shadow after a lengthy retrograde phase. You may benefit from spending more time at home redecorating. Patch-up up family relationships, dear Cap, reconnect and share some love. Perhaps you haven't felt like entertaining, cooking fantastic meals or embracing your creativity with new artistic projects. If so, why not revisit areas that have been lacking your enthusiasm and need for pleasurable outlets? What about planting an array of flowers in the garden, or beautifying the home in other ways. From the 18th to the 21st you feel more sociable, outgoing and light-hearted. Perhaps it's time to celebrate over a special event on the home front, in your career or regarding opportunities that have come your way. The 25th to the 27th could leave you the worse for wear, as pent-up annoyances and emotions rise. You could be feeling dissatisfied with your efforts, and relationships are unusually intense. There'll be a part of you that will call for change, so allow some time for personal growth. Avoid being too jealous and controlling in love matters and concerning your possessions.
Warrior Mars remains in Gemini, your 6th house. It's not exactly the jolliest of times with the disruptive Mars energy in your 6th house, but at least you will have the drive to get on top of important work. The downside may be emotional temperatures rising with work colleagues or the boss that lead to ego fights and arguments. Are you going at a faster rate than need be, not finding time to work effectively without being in a rush? Some Sea-Goats could suffer from injuries, cuts and abrasions, as mishandling machinery and heavy objects is in the frame. Health problems could be escalated, featuring surgical operations, or bothersome headaches, fevers and blood ailments. From the 10th to the 14th make sure your take the time to understand all news, and facts that comes your way. You could be misinformed, open to lies and scandals. However, there is a chance that benefits or recognition could come your way through your employment, or authority types. From the 27th to the 31st, hidden sources of anguish or an inability to do your work due to health problems could invade your energy levels.
The North Node/ South Node axis, known as the Dragon's Head and Tail, is changing signs. Retrograding into Leo your 8th house of sex, death and taxes, the True Node completes its karmic journey on May 9th, passing through the critical first degree of Virgo. The Mean Node has already moved into Leo on April 29th, but the power of the moment is undeniable. The movement of the Node into Leo sets the measure of karma over the next eighteen months.
