Aquarius Monthly Forecast for April 2017
Lovely Venus retrogrades into your 2nd house on April 3rd, turning direct on the 15th, but remaining in Pisces till the 27th, after spending time in your 3rd playing out your diplomatic role with neighbours and kin. Venus re-enters Aries on April 28th, when old money matters will need reviewing. There's a chance of money coming your way, but remain frugal when it comes to spending it on luxury items.
Mercury also turns retrograde on the 9th, in Taurus your 4th house, reentering Aries your 3rd house on the 20th when you are likely to think twice about previous decisions. If you have merchandise purchases in mind, hold off until after the retrograde phase to avoid faulty workmanship and delays in receiving goods. Mercury will return to your 4th house on May 16th. Up to the 9th, annoyances will surface, particularly if you have applied for another career role, want to discuss your options with your employer, or are waiting for that promotion.
From the 7th to the 9th, with the Full Moon's energy building up, you may decide to travel, think about doing studies, or expand your knowledge and higher principles. There'll be past problems, dealings with authority types or people in hospitals or institutions that you will come into contact with. From the 13th to the 15th, they won't call you sparky or snarky for no reason. You will be full of innovative ideas, but just as likely to be unpredictable, thanks to Uranus breaking down restrictions in the way you express yourself. From the 16th to the 18th, you'll be in contact with old friends, who could assist you in furthering your objectives.
This month the Moon's North Node will be moving out of Virgo and into Leo, your 7th house of significant relationships. First out of the gate will be the the Mean Node on April 29th, with the True Node following suit on May 9th. This will bring a sense of fated happenings with people that you meet, karmic events and people from the past, or those who have a significant bearing on your relationship status, partnerships, legalities, and commitments.
The Full Moon on the 11th comes in charming Libra, your 9th house of the higher mind. For April, it is often referred to as the Full Pink Moon from the herb moss pink, or wild ground phlox, which is one of the earliest widespread flowers to appear in spring in the Northern Hemisphere. Other given names include Sprouting Grass Moon, Egg Moon and among the coastal tribes as the Fish Moon because this was the time that the shad swam upstream to spawn.
This Full Moon will bring an urge to broaden your experiences of the world, awakening adventure through travel and the desire to broaden your knowledge through study. It will however trigger emotional highs and lows as you express your point of view and need for freedom in some way. Problems could arise over transport, travel, discussions over belief systems, politics, religion and legal matters. You might decide it's time for closure, finalising some aspect of advanced studies, especially in science, research or the medical field. Jot down your thoughts, and be open to opportunities that may present themselves. It's important that you're open-minded and receptive to a variety of ideas, especially if you're wrestling with a difficult decision. Be prepared to listen and learn, and possibly even to admit that you don't have all the answers.
On the 19th, the Sun moves out of Aries and into earthy Taurus, your 4th house of home and family. During the next four weeks, there's no place like home. You've come full circle, back to the domestic focus that you began the month with. Perhaps it's back to work to complete a renovation or redecorating task begun earlier. Maybe it's simply enjoying the home environment with loved ones. Many Water-Bearers will find themselves researching family history, or contacting a distant or estranged relative. There are real estate and rental properties to consider, and sieving through memorabilia and keepsakes.
The 26th sees a New Moon in Taurus, your 4th house. The next two weeks will see a greater dedication to your home environment and building on family relationships. This is a good time to assess your unconscious drives, and how traditional family values are important to you. Early childhood training and family traditions resurface, some of which you may have to let go of and take a new direction with your own ideas. Be open to change, taking on a different outlook and letting go of the past, including items and possessions that are no longer of value. Attend to necessary home repairs and redecorating. Make your surroundings comfortable and let go of those insecurities that are no longer valid. Your inner child needs releasing, so do it now.
The Cosmic Prankster then re-enters Aries, your 3rd house of communication, on April 20th. Connections in the local environment, telecommunications and computer gear will experience some sort of interruption. Thanks to Venus also retrograde in the 3rd house, things will not run as smoothly as expected. Mix-ups could occur with accommodation; flight, luggage and connection problems are also in the frame. You may have to resolve differences that came about during the period from March 23rd to the 28th, and from April 27th to the 30th. Gain some insight into the events and dissipate any ill feelings. Mercury turns direct on May 3rd in Aries, then moves forward to re-enter Taurus, your 4th house, on May 16th again, but remains in a shadow phase until May 21st.
On the 21st, the Warrior moves into witty Gemini, your 5th house. Your physical energy will shift up a gear to a level of creativity, allowing you to express your talents in many ways. When it comes to love, you'll be somewhat fickle, changing your mind, or just playing the field. Your sexuality will increase, as will your personal magnetism. It's a good time to release some of that excess energy through sports, going to the gym, brisk walking or other recreational fun. Be mindful that children may be of concern so keep an eye on their whereabouts. Also avoid gambling and risk taking in speculative matters.
The North Node retrograding into Leo, your 7th house of significant relationships, and the South Node in Aquarius for the next 18 months or so awakens karmic lessons that affect intimate relationships, partnerships and open opponents, along with your personal self-image and general appearance. The nodes are associated with giving and receiving, commitment and reward, not always of your own making. The lesson of your serious relationships are ultimately making them work and learning the ins and outs of being together and cooperating. Although you may agree on the goal of equality, agreeing on what actually comprises it can be a challenge and sometimes a conflict. The rewards are well worth the effort.
By establishing your boundaries you also gain a surer idea of what goes to make up the relationship. A stronger sense of individuality will emerge that can only reinforce you intellectually and emotionally and strengthen the relationship even further. A sense of fate seems to have brought you together, since you have so much to gain from each other. Karmic lessons can be learnt from identifying your self-worth too, which may present challenges within relationships and partnerships. Find your own singular vibration without the continual dependence and desire to please others. Although it may be difficult, it will help you grow as an individual taking control and leadership. The plan is to balance your needs with those of others in your life without sacrificing your own identity, thereby gaining happiness.
